3 Things I learned in a Movie- El secreto de sus ojos

Have you seen El secreto de sus ojos? It is based on a book and was filmed in 2009. It's an excellent movie, and I know they did a remake, but it could be better. The dialogue, the simplicity, and the amazing acting can't compare. I definitely recommend it! I want to share 3 things that I learned in this film. 1. It is possible to keep yourself imprisoned in a moment of your life.  Of course, trauma is the culprit. It almost feels like Morales dies the moment he is told his wife was murdered.  How do we heal and move forward from those brutal moments in life? 2. At any point, we can let go of our fears and doubts and free ourselves. Esposito finally has that complicated conversation with Irene. I would rather try and fail than live with regret. 3. To free ourselves, we need to be honest with ourselves. Sandoval explains to Esposito why he drinks and how he feels happy, causing chaos while drunk.
