When I read books by Paulo Coelho I treat them like a bible. They are full of knowledge and great thoughts about life. He says things that really make sense in a world that can be quite confusing at times. I'm currently reading "Aleph" and I recommend it. The book like I said before is full of knowledge. It's very easy to connect with the thoughts of the writer. Also, he meets the most interesting people and travels to many different places. Therefore, he is able to teach you about random little things that he connects with life. Take for example the story of the Chinese Bamboo: "It apparently spends five years as a little shoot, using that time to develop it's roots system. And then, from one moment to the next, it puts on a spurt and grows up to twenty-five meters high."
