Aleph By Paulo Coelho Pages 1-11

When I read books by Paulo Coelho I treat them like a bible. They are full of knowledge and great thoughts about life. He says things that really make sense in a world that can be quite confusing at times. I'm currently reading "Aleph" and I recommend it. The book like I said before is full of knowledge. It's very easy to connect with the thoughts of the writer. Also, he meets the most interesting people and travels to many different places. Therefore, he is able to teach you about random little things that he connects with life. Take for example the story of the Chinese Bamboo: "It apparently spends five years as a little shoot, using that time to develop it's roots system. And then, from one moment to the next, it puts on a spurt and grows up to twenty-five meters high." (Page 26) He later compares the Chinese Bamboo to his life and he decides to begin developing his "root system" and takes on many different challenges. I thought this com...

Rant: Divergent Series: Ascendant TV Show? TV Movie?

And so, if you don't know already...the director of the movie The Divergent Series: Ascendant decided that they want to turn this movie into a TV show. They also decided this movie will not play in theaters and as we already know the actors are dropping out of this project like flies. Why am I not surprised? They are upset that the third movie didn't do well but they should've known already. The book has really bad ratings since the author decided to kill the main character. I knew people were going to be disappointed once they caught up with their reading. Even though I had previously announced that I wasn't going to see it, Theo James' eyes were just too beautiful to not see them on a big screen. I wasn't disappointed because Theo James had a lot of screen time and they had perfect shots of his face and his body in the shower. BUT ANYWAYS, everyone left the theater in shock because a lot of the things in the book were changed in the movie and Tris didn't d...

What's on My Bucket List? (2K Tour) #2ktour #Otown

When I was growing up, I was absolutely in love with the boy bands. My sister, my cousin and I used to buy all their magazines and had a bunch of posters on the wall and followed their news on television. TRL and MTV were very huge in our lives in the 90's and early 2000's. But we never got the chance to actually meet the boy bands and experience the craziness of meeting the handsome guys we all dreamed about. That's until the 2K Tour. Even thought the Backstreet Boys and N*sync were not part of it, I was excited to hear that 98 Degrees and O-Town (without Ashley) were going to tour and Indiana just happened to be one of the states! I didn't think about it twice, we had to see them! It was absolutely amazing! We got to meet them and take pictures with them and dance crazy to their songs. It truly was a dream come true and I felt like a teenager again but a 90's teenager. They are just as handsome in real life as they are in pictures and they are talented as...
