Rant- The Good Wife

What is it lately with TV Shows and crappy endings anyways? Really Good Wife, did you have to add yourself to the list? Well, you sure did last night after that finale. I mean, is that really what you leave your fans with after seven seasons? We don't get anything resolved for anyone. All you really did was bring up more questions and give us no answer. Just like you got Josh to return to the finale you could've asked Archie to come back for Cary. It would've been so romantic and shocking and probably a good topic fans would be talking about. Instead we are stuck wondering if Alicia ever find Jason or he got tired of her putting Peter before her own happiness and took off. There is just a lot that is left on the air. It felt incomplete as if there is something but nothing at the same time.

Let's not forget that they killed Will. After almost five season developing his love with Alicia and dividing the fans up with a love triangle, they killed Will. They bother to develop his character and his love for Alicia, for what? I think Josh saw the finale of the show and decided he wanted no real significant part in it. He didn't want to be a Jason for Alicia to choose.
Even so, the fans continue to be faithful and yes Diane might've slapped Alicia with just five seconds of show left but it's nothing compared to what we got. I really feel the slap on the face was for the fans. Yup, after seven seasons we got slapped on the face. And for those of you that think this ending made any sense, you were definitely watching another show. I sincerely thought that after seven seasons Alicia had opened her eyes. WRONG! If anything she stuck in the same place but with different characters. She couldn't even decided properly between Jason and Peter, PETER REALLY? I mean what else do you want this man to do to you? Is it possible for someone to hurt you more than that?
The writers didn't help either!
To try and make us feel better the writers explained that the slap at the end of the show was a way of waking Alicia up. Let's get real here! If she didn't wake up after losing Will the love of her life, then when the hell is she going to wake up?

Whatever, I'm glad it's done.

I Let Go

When I commit to something, I like to see it through.  I work hard to see it through.   I ignore the signs and I keep pushing even when there's nothing worth fighting for. This year though, I am learning to let go of everything; I mean people, I mean situations, feelings, and anything that doesn't serve me. And I grieve all of this but in a healthy way.  I allow time to be my friend. I give myself words of encouragement. I give my body, food, vitamins, and exercise. I give my brain meditation and therapy. I read. I cry, I talk to my sister, and my friends. I Let Go. It's the best thing I could've done for myself. At the end of the day, is it really worth forcing something that's not meant to be for you?

A Lost Story #NationalNovelWritingMonth2024

I watched a love story, a telenovela, many years ago.  I was maybe between the ages of 5-7 when they played it on TV. Something about that telenovela has lived forever in my mind. I thought that maybe with technology advancing we could see the story again. After years of waiting, I found the director (I love the power of the internet) and he gave me the terrible news that...unfortunately, the story was lost forever.  I may not be able to watch it again, but I would like to write it down in my own words. This is my project for the rest of 2024 and part of NANO WRIMO 2024. What are you writing about for the month of November?
